Terms and Conditions

1. Booking:
   1. To secure your event date and time, a deposit of 50% of the total agreed fee is required at the time of booking. The remaining 50% is due on the day before the event and must be paid in full before the performance.
   2. Booking confirmation will be sent to you via email.
2. Cancellation:
   1. Cancellation made 46 days or more until the event will result in a 50% loss of the deposit.
   2. Cancellation made within 45 days of the event will result in the loss of the deposit.
   3. Cancellation made within 14 days of the event will result in the loss of the full fee.
3. Changes:
   1. Any changes to the booking details must be made at least 14 days prior to the event.
   2. Changes made within 14 days of the event may incur additional charges.
4. Performance:
   1. I will arrive at least 40 min before the performance time to set up and do a soundcheck.
   2. I will require access to a power source, a performance area of at least 3 meters by 3 meters which is covered from sun or rain, adequate lighting and a small table for my sound equipment.
   3. Should there not be power on site I will need to hire an inverter which will be billed to the client.
   4. I will take one break during each set performance, which will be a maximum of 20 minutes per hour.
   5. Should I need to be setup in multiple locations there will be an extra charge of R1800 per location as well as the cost for any additional gear that will be required.
   6. I reserve the right to refuse to perform in circumstances that may pose a risk to my safety or well-being.
   7. I do not offer DJ services or ceremonial services.
   8. Additional waiting time at venue outside of the package chosen will be billed per hour.
5. Repertoire:
   1. I have a wide range of songs in my repertoire, and I am happy to accommodate specific song requests wherever possible (at an additional cost should I have to learn the song).
   2. If there are any songs that I am unable to perform, I will notify you in advance.
6. Liability:
   1. I cannot be held responsible for any injury, loss, or damage to persons or property arising from my performance.
7. Force Majeure:
   1. In the event of unforeseen circumstances such as illness, accident, or other unavoidable circumstances, I reserve the right to cancel the performance.
   2. In such circumstances, a full refund of any deposit or fee paid will be given as well as the option to replace me with an alternative musician at the event.
8. Governing Law:
   1. This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the event takes place.
